Lot Tracking in Dx5: Fulfillment Orders (Read Time: 4 Minutes)

Creating a fulfillment order with Lot Tracking enabled follows the same process as usual, with the option to choose specific Finished Product lots per line instead of relying on FIFO.

To create a fulfillment order:

• Navigate to Fulfillment > Orders > Add New Order
• Enter the order date, customer, order number, and order file, as usual
• Select your product and choose between Bonded or Tax-Paid status
• Select your unit type (cases or single bottles) and enter the quantity ordered

Note: FIFO is automatically selected on a line unless specific lots are chosen.

To ship specific lots instead of FIFO:

• Select Select Lots on the line
• Enter the quantity to pull from each lot — a line's total can be split across as many lots as needed, including pulling all of it from a single lot if desired
• Once your entered quantities match the line total, the allocation indicator at the bottom clears
• Select Save

Lot detail for the Finished Product appears at the bottom of the line item once saved. To revert a line back to automatic FIFO selection, select Use FIFO.

To add another product to the order, select Add Product and repeat the process. Ship the order when desired.
