Setup: Add New Vessel (Read Time: 2 Minutes)

Users can add new vessels/containers to their DISTILL x 5 systems by:

1. Navigate to Operations > Setup
2. From the "Setup Actions" menu in the top-right corner of the screen, select "Add Vessel"
3. On the "Add Vessel" screen, users will enter:
   • Vessel Name
     • Here, users will enter an internal tracking name for their vessel
   • Abbreviation
     • Here, users will choose an abbreviation to represent chosen Vessel Name
   • Type Designation
     • Select the appearance of the vessel in the system. The name associated with the type designation will not be seen again, so users may select the type that is most visually accurate to the vessel entered.
       • For example, if users have a square, stainless teel fermenter, users could choose "Holding Tank (Square)" as it might be most visually similar
   • Volume (Max Capacity)
     • Here, users will enter the maximum capacity (in unit) of the vessel described
   • Serial Number
     • The Serial Number field is typically used is the Vessel or Container has been registered with the TTB on the distillery's federal application or permit
   • Enabled Operational Stages
     • Users have the option to select specific operational stages in which a vessel can exist
       • For example
         • For a still, "distillation" is the appropriate Operational Stage
         • For a Holding Tank, "Bulk Storage" & "Bulk Processing" may be appropriate Operational Stages
   • Description
     • Users may add descriptions for their vessels as desired

4. Once all information is entered, users can save their vessel by selecting:
   • Save and Add Another
     • This allows users to save this vessel and regenerate the form to add another vessel
   • Save and Return To Setup
     • This option allows users to save this vessel and be redirected to Operations > Setup
