Transfer Spirit Between Vessels (Read Time: 2 Minutes)

This article provides steps on performing a full and partial transfer of spirit between vessels. Please see the 'Stage Switch' article for more information around moving entire vessels (spirit + container) from one stage to another. 

In Dx5, users can perform full transfers of spirit from one vessel into another by following the steps below: 

• Navigate to Operations > Overview, then click the active batch name to enter the Batch Details page.
• Once in Batch Details, navigate to Batch Actions > Transfer
• To perform a full transfer:
  1. Enter in the Transfer Date/Time
  2. Choose Transfer Type - "Transfer Entire Contents"
  3. Select appropriate Destination Stage
  4. Select desired Destination Vessel
  5. Select appropriate Destination Batch Type
  6. Complete this action by pressing 'TRANSFER'

In Dx5, users can perform partial transfers of spirit from one vessel into another by following the steps below: 

• Navigate to Operations > Overview, then click the active batch name to enter the Batch Details page.
• Once in Batch Details, navigate to Batch Actions > Transfer
• To perform a partial transfer:
  1. Enter in the Transfer Date/Time
  2. Choose Transfer Type - "Partial Transfer"
  3. Select appropriate Destination Stage
  4. Select desired Destination Vessel
  5. Select appropriate Destination Batch Type
  6. Enter the Spirit Quantity in Volume or Weight (Unit)
     • Users have the option to transfer into multiple vessels by selecting "+Add Another Destination Vessel"
     • Users have the option to empty out the vessel by selecting "Mark Remainder as Loss"
       • Please note this will result in a loss reported on your Monthly TTB Reports
  7. Complete this action by pressing 'TRANSFER'
