Note: If the incorrect collection was from a completed distillation batch, first restore to vessel by following the steps in the linked article, then follow the steps below.
When inputting a distillation collection, the user is asked for an "ending total volume". This volume is the total volume of any existing batch plus the collection, rather than just the volume of the collection.
For example, if collecting of 5gal of spirit into a vessel that currently holds 5gal of spirit, the ending total volume of this collection would be 10gal.
If an error was made during the collection:
- Verify that the source distillation batch still has a status of Active. If it is Complete, or no longer Active within your Operations Overview, follow these steps to restore to vessel first.
- Enter the Batch Details for either the source or destination vessel. You can perform this undo from either vessel.
- In Batch History, find the incorrect transfer and click the “Undo” button to the far right.
- Confirm the displayed undo details of the two vessels. If all of the data looks correct, hit Confirm to proceed. This will undo the incorrect collection, and will update the batch history of both vessels.
